How My Breathe Daily Strategies Began
In 2007 I had my first panic attack, I started therapy that next year and the depression soon followed. It was then that I realized that BREATHE wasn’t for me to write a book, it was actually for me, to help me heal and survive my daily life with depression and anxiety. Since then I have used the BREATHE acronyms to create daily strategies that I use to keep my brain in a good space. Life with depression and anxiety is a constant struggle. When I find myself feeling what I call the depression pull, I realize I have forgotten to BREATHE and I have to get myself back on track doing my Breathe Daily Strategies.
It has been 23 years since I was first blessed with the BREATHE thought. I have shared my Breathe Daily Strategies with some close friends and family. I have been blessed to have a great therapist, doctors, husband, kids and friends who are part of my “team” that help me get through the good and the bad days. And it is with all their help that I feel like it is time to start sharing my Breathe Daily Strategies for anyone who needs more tools in their tool box for depression, anxiety or any other neurodivergent diseases or disorders. It has been a long journey and I hope you will go on this new journey with me. Follow me on Instagram @BreatheDailyStrategies or my blog BreatheDailyStrategies.blogspot.com.
